hi,
When I was testing samba vfs with,I got 'Permission denied' .My test environment is as follow:
os:
CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)
samba vfs:
glusterfs-libs-3.8.4-54.15.el7.centos.x86_64
samba-vfs-glusterfs-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
samba-common-4.7.1-9.el7_5.noarch
glusterfs-3.8.4-54.15.el7.centos.x86_64
samba-common-libs-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
samba-client-libs-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
glusterfs-api-3.8.4-54.15.el7.centos.x86_64
samba-libs-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
samba-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
glusterfs-client-xlators-3.8.4-54.15.el7.centos.x86_64
samba-common-tools-4.7.1-9.el7_5.x86_64
glusterfs
glusterfs-3.12.14
And here also my smb.conf




In addition, the only samba vfs glusterfs 4.7.9 version is available in the yum repository.I have not found other old versions that can be compiled. Can I tell the samba vfs glusterfs source package address link?
